great place. not all breakfast places are created equally. there are other breakfast spots that have dishes as good or better, yes. but they are well rounded, and have the only corned beef hash worth eating in the entire county. they get a full extra star just for that.

The Cowgirl Cafe in Paso is so classic! I go for breakfast, so eggs bacon and coffee are always good. They do a great omelette too. This is an old school diner vibe, and you will usually find locals in there gabbing about area. You may even run into a cowboy/ cowgirl when you are there!

If you leave here hungry something is seriously wrong with you. Ordered ala cart to put together what I wanted: 2 scrambled eggs which looked like 4 eggs, home fried potatoes and a biscuit w/gravy. Service was very attentive and welcoming. A charmer place worth a try.

Had Christmas Eve brunch here with my family and it was delicious as always! Great service and great food. It was even better because we practically had the place to ourselves. It's a place with a homey feel and comfort food you grew up enjoying.

Nice local restaurant that has that "community regular" feel. The food is very tasty and extremely filling, excellent portions! Friendly staff and you can tell it's a town favorite, it was almost completely full at all times but never actually had a wait. Perfect for a Sunday morning!

I was in pasó for 30 hours and had breakfast in paso in 2 different places; we had breakfast the morning we arrived and the following day just before heading out of town; I have to say, I had 2 completely different experiences for breakfast and this was by far the highlight. We were instantly greeted and seated when we walked in, we had drinks a few moments later and our food came not long after we placed our order. The portions served were well priced, a rare thing to find these days. And the food was tasty. The basics but done very well. The pancakes were not too heavy and the eggs made exactly as ordered. I ordered poached eggs the day before and was served soft boiled eggs. My partner has the biscuits with gravy and really enjoyed the dish as it can often be too salty. Looking around the establishment, you could tell the room was filled with locals and for good reason, they do the standards well. So if that's your cup of tea, I highly recommend choosing Cowgirl cafe for your most important meal of the day.

Service was little hectic but given that it was the long weekend it was sort of a given. We found this place in Yelp and the food looked quite good. There was a good amount of people waiting when we arrived but it didn't take long for an outside table. Menu does have loads of all your traditional breakfast dish. Went with the special, seafood omelette. Served with the house potatoes and biscuits and gravy. As well as the classic breakfast with the eggs, sausage, bacon and toast. And over head the table ordering the French toast. Portion are big so if your hungry you're at the right places. The ladies were all very friendly and sweet. We now found another place for breakfast whenever we're in Paso again.

My second time here. We like it very much. Very very friendly staff. The good is good and portions are good. Prices are good too. But what any guest would notice and appreciate is the staff.

We liked the Cowgirl Cafe! A diner with personality and a down-home feel. Outfitted in John Wayne and other western decor, it's quite cute. Nice service! Big food! Good prices! Yes! The menu has all kinds of tantalizing items. The gf and I both chose savory egg dishes with potatoes (me-hash browns, she-home potatoes and she the winner). Loved. We ate half, they were huge! Sidewalk seating available. Small counter, too. Yep, it's in the regular rotation.
